Take a break in Isère at our little 4-star campsite, staying either at a tent/motorhome/caravan pitch or in one of our own mobile homes, and come and savour the cuisine at our very own restaurant.
Jean-Claude, the chef at Belvédère de l’Obiou campsite, sources his ingredients exclusively from organic farmers using local distribution channels wherever possible, and prepares and serves unique, simple and yet at the same time delicious dishes.
How about beginning with a "blonde au pin" light ale made at the Brasserie Maltey brewery just a few kilometres away? Ever heard of Tchin framboise, Génalpin or Cernoix? You're sure to enjoy these plant-based aperitifs produced by the "La Salettina" craft distillery in the nearby town of Corps.
It's been a good year for our two walnut trees… which have produced lots of nuts! You can enjoy the crunchy texture of our nuts in our delicious "salade grenobloise".
Follow it with an excellent rib steak from "Ferme du Parc" farm, which uses only organic farming methods in its production. You'll also have the opportunity to savour the delicious taste of lamb raised on the grass of the beautiful Oisans mountains.
Where regional specialities are concerned, we have "tourton", a kind of fried strudel, "Murçon", a cured pork sausage flavoured with caraway seeds, and "tourte Matheysine", a kind of pie containing pork or veal (or a mixture of both)… All absolutely recommended to try in our restaurant!
We've also put together a range of dishes specially for vegans, such as the salade de l’Obiou, our omelettes and our vegetarian pizzas, with their vegetable toppings.
Cheese lovers are in for a treat in the shape of the organic products from "ferme de Sainte-Luce" farm. You can also buy these cheeses direct from the farm and at the market held every Tuesday evening in front of the campsite.
The whole family is sure to give a big thumbs up to the pizzas available to order as takeaways to enjoy either on the patio of your mobile home or at your pitch.
The restaurant at the heated-pool-equipped 4-star Belvédère de l'Obiou campsite opens every evening in July and August. It is closed on Wednesday evenings during the off-season from May to September however.
Bon appétit!
